- Labor Day (September)
- Veterans Day (November)
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January)
- Presidents’ Day (February)
- Memorial Day (May)
- Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving (November)
- One week at Christmas (December)
- Good Friday
- One week at Easter (when ever Easter falls)
- One week before the fall semester starts for cleaning (August)
- For summer program children–July 4th
