Preschool Program

     Our preschool program is designed for 2 year olds up to five years old. The curriculum addresses the developmental needs of this age group. Our program:

• Provides small group interactive instruction
• Promotes student articulation of thinking
• Links concepts and skills in reading, math, science, PE, and technology
• Develops Christ centered character caring, trustworthiness, fairness, respect, responsibility, and citizenship

Sample Daily Schedule
Below is a typical daily schedule for the Preschool Program.

9:00 am                       GREETING and INDOOR ACTIVITES

As children arrive they are greeted and they may choose a center, Art and inside
learning activities are offered.

10:00 am                     CLEAN UP TIME

10:05 am                     CIRCLE TIME

As a group the calendar, a story for the day, and helpers are gone over.

10:15 am                     BATHROOM BREAK

            Wash hands and prepare for snack time.

10:25 am                     SNACK TIME

Children take turns passing out cups, napkins and choosing the prayer.

10:40 am                     GROUP TIME

Sharing, a science experiment, music, and/or large motor outside.

10:55 am                     OUTSIDE PLAYTIME

11:45 am                     JESUSTIME

12:00 (noon)                LUNCH

1:00 pm                       DISMISSAL (half day children)

1:30-3:30 pm         NAP

3:30 pm                       SNACK

4:00 pm                       OUTDOOR TIME (weather permitting)

5:30 pm                       INDOOR PLAY/GET READY TO GO HOME
